Does Sri Lankan passport holder need transit visa to fly through Malaysia?
Hi,I’m a Sri Lankan passport holder. I am flying to Sri Lanka via Malaysia from Japan. I want to know if i require a transit visa or i don’t need any as i only have a transit of 6 hrs and its just a connecting flight. I am flying in Malaysian Airline flights From Japan to Malaysia and from Malaysia to Sri Lanka. Will they transfer my luggage without going through the immigration process?

Most countries permit you to have a connection and not immigrate you provided you stay within a certain controlled zone of the airport for that purpose.

Hi, I was wondering if it is ok to bring an electric guitar onboard a flight from Osaka, Japan to Auckland, New Zealand via KL, Malaysia on a Malaysian Airline flight.
Does Malaysian Airlines have a special restriction on carry-on luggage? Or is it up to airport officials?

You’d probably have to check it in at the fragile/oversized luggage counter and collect it from the designated area when you arrive your destination – this is usually in the vicinity of the baggage conveyors in the arrivals hall.
Call the airline and ask them what their procedure is.
